I run HC Core Tech as a one-person practice covering AI engineering, web development, and governance. Every line of code, every website, every client conversation, every invoice, every governance assessment goes through me.

The trade is deliberate: small footprint, high trust, no outsourcing, no hidden hand-offs. My work sits at the point where an AI system stops being a demo and starts being something a business actually depends on.

Agentic backends in Python and FastAPI. Next.js and TypeScript frontends. RAG and multi-agent orchestration. Full production websites, brand systems, and web builds. And the paperwork underneath, the AI registers, audit trails, framework mapping, and human-in-the-loop review layers that hold up under real regulatory scrutiny.

I grew up being told I could do anything I set my mind to. My first pull was engineering, but my family thought medicine was the wiser path for a girl. I knew I could thrive in any field I chose, so I went to Ukraine to study medicine. And I thrived. If the war hadn't happened, I'd probably be a doctor today.

I was in my third year when the war started. I fled. I tried to continue medicine in Europe, but the curriculum did not line up. Picking up where I had left off meant starting from the beginning, and the application deadlines had already passed. The next cycle felt too far away to wait for.

I had always been drawn to programming, and had been working in the field alongside medical school. So I started learning it properly. Took courses. Kept going. Eventually enrolled at the Open Institute of Technology.

I sometimes think about the doctor I would have been if the war hadn't happened. But I believe everything happens for a reason. This life, the engineering, HC Core Tech, the way I work now, feels like it was mine to take. Maybe a blessing in disguise. Either way, I don't regret it.

I trained in AI engineering with a foundation in cybersecurity. Google Cybersecurity, IBM AI Engineering, AWS Cloud Foundations, and a BSc in Computer Science with the Open Institute of Technology (Malta).

Before HC Core Tech, I spent a year as Data and AI Governance Manager with Voice4AI Governance, building risk assessment frameworks aligned to EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and ISO/IEC 42001.

In early 2026, I led AI Development on the AVC platform. A nine-agent content production system, delivered on time.

HC Core Tech is my own practice, running in parallel. CoreDesk, the AI workspace platform I ship, is its flagship product. I run both from the Netherlands, serving clients in the NL, EU, and beyond.

Alongside the AI work, I build websites end to end. Production WordPress and headless Next.js. Brand systems and design tokens, conversion-led copy, SEO setup, lead-capture automation. Recent web work includes Seraph Zorg, Jiska's portfolio, and the two-site Magnifying Children's Horizons build in Canada.

Engineering and governance, one hand

I engineer AI systems and lead the governance that keeps them accountable. Most people building AI agents in the Netherlands do not also understand the EU AI Act. Most governance specialists cannot ship a working system. I do both, for the same client, on the same project.

Direct engineer access, always

You talk to the engineer building the work. Not an account manager. Not a sales layer. Not a project coordinator. Slack, email, scheduled review calls, whichever works. The person answering your questions is the person writing the code and signing off the governance report.

Written deliverables, nothing lost

Every major deliverable is a versioned document: project plan, copy doc, brand context, build handover, governance assessment. Decisions go in the doc, not the chat thread. You leave every engagement with a permanent record you can hand to your team, an auditor, or your next engineer.

Tight scoping, fixed price

Fixed scope, fixed price, before build. Changes are quoted separately before any additional work begins. The trade is transparent: you know what you get and what it costs, and I know what I am delivering.

Direct, warm, momentum-driven. Contractions over corporate prose. Concise framing over formal business writing.

Comfortable coordinating across distributed teams. My most recent engagement had three engineers across the Netherlands, Eastern Europe, and South Korea.
